Filstar®
can be described in four sections: |
 |
 |
The Super-centrifugal
block
On entering Filstar the solids/
liquid mixture is super-centrifuged in the specially processed
block. The mixture is almost instantly separated. The
cleared liquid flows up and out. The solids are forced
down. |
 |
The High Precipitation
Block
Here, the solids are rapidly forced
down due to special processing and surface treatment.
The separation is reinforced. |
 |
The Calm Precipitation
Block
Filstar now achieves the sedimental
dissociation almost instantly. This would normally take
many hours in a still liquid. |
 |
The Drain
The sediment collects in the drain. It
can be removed automatically or manually. As the valve
opens the sediment is forced out. |
